The name Marcus Garvey is known the world over as a freedom fighter for the Political, Economical and Social rights of black people the world over. He had a dream to see one strong black nation with Africa the base. If you do not know much about this great mans life accomplishments then you now are at the right place and I can guarantee that when you finish watching this documentary you will be in awe of the Right Honourable Marcus Mosiah Garvey.
The documentary shows Marcus Garvey's world impact on black people in the USA,Central America and Africa. You will also learn of the black informants that was used by the US government to prevent Garvey's dream to come to reality. The documentary shows how in spight of these difficulties he managed to overcome many obstaces. You will see many unseen pictures and videos of Garvey.
I was going to write an essay about Garvey however this documentary proves to be vital research to writing this essay. Infact after seeing it you will probably want to write something on it. He contributed a lot to the world, yet up until now people are oblivious of this. You will see many interesting facts such as his dialogue with the Ku Klux Klan which angered many blacks at the time. His fist fight with one of his his workers who did not take the job serious among other things.
One astonishing fact is that one of the people he believed was his true friend, was a government informant paid to snitch on him. Hope you enjoy this one peeps.
