Relationship Ruckus

I wrote an article a few months back about playa's or wannabe pimps and how people should just do what they are doing, a few conversations via e mail have occurred since then and I can't help but wonder is there more to it? In this article I will explore what makes a relationship, why people cheat and what are the key ingredients for a successful relationship?

I feel the key elements are Trust, Respect and Compromise without these I feel it is like a car without wheels. Firstly trust if you do not trust one another then that automatically adds superstitious minds. What is with checking your partners phone, if you are unsure just ask or even give your partner the benefit of the doubt. There are little thing's I hear you ask that set off alarm bells yes .Such as a pin number on a partners phone may give the impression that they have something to hide or that they have there phone constantly on silent or vibrate. If they are guilty don't worry and get yourself wound up about it because karma is a very powerful thing. You may not be with them when it strikes and it may not strike when you are with them, when it strikes it strikes.

Respect in order to respect anyone you must first respect yourself know what you want out of the relationship and find out what your partner wants e.g. talk about the future your past experiences and how you can grow together. Leave the secret motives behind such as money, children or neediness. Be a strong person going into a relationship and also be independent. You have to also respect your partners wishes and allow each other space to do what your doing. Compromise has to be given you can't be selfish because it's not one rule for you and another for them e.g. when going out if a partner asks where are you going and you don't want them to know. Ask yourself when they go out I bet your throwing out 21 questions. If you don't want to tell them then why what are you hiding?

Why do people cheat? Answer because they are insecure or unhappy no other excuse. If some one cheats on you then they have no respect for you or themselves. Should you stay with someone that cheats? No this will eventually cause more problems you will either try or get revenge whether it be on purpose or not and you will keep bringing it up again and again. If you are unhappy then talk over your problems as they say the grass isn't always greener on the other side and if it is just be honest it's much easier to tell the truth than worry about lying to yourself and others.
