Dudu of Krazee Kulture

Educational Background:Graduate of sociology from LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY,NIGERIA.{L.A.S.U} And a Post Graduate DIPLOMA in Journalism. Style of music: Afro-Hip Soul. With Heavy influences from/by Reggae, Dancehall, Ragga, Hiphop And African Folklore.Dudu is a Highly Talented But Underated Veteran Of The Nigerian Music Scene. But The Goodnews is That That is About To Change.

He Says Since he was a kid he believed he could sing.Entertainment is a Life Mission Of His.Even Throughout his education he claimed he either entertained or was involved with entertainment. He Refers to The African influences in U.S or U.K Hiphop. And Noted Examples Like Somalian U.S Based Hiphoper K'Naan And Senegalese Megastar Akon.

He Said its Only natural that The Nigerian Hiphop Scene take the World By Storm. And it's starting to happen with the influencial and notable M.T.V AFRICA recognising 2face Idibia with an Award years back. And now U.S Super D.J and musician MOBY has Featured U.K based Nigerian Hiphopers JJC&The 419 Squad. A Song that will be on his forthcoming new Album.Boldly,'DUDUMAN' proclaims Afro-hiphop is The future Of Hiphop.

Dudu is a Member Of Afro-hiphop Group - KRAZEE KULTURE.Although For The Moment The Band Consisting Two{DUDU And KOLMAN} Are On a Hiatus;in other to Pursue Solo Projects. The Group,Originally Four in number was formed in 1993.They Played Live Music Of Varying Brands at different bars and restaurants at weekends. In 1996 Two Left and The remaining two DUDU And KOLMAN Went On To Record ''DANCING MACHINE'' As Their Debut.DANCING MACHINE Consisted Of the hit -''KOLMAN TRAIN''.

Their Nomination as Finalists at the Nigeria international song festival in 1996 Gained Them Many Fans And Made Them Bonafide Artists. The Fame Brought More Workload including appearances in The Raypower{100.5FM}/Chelsea&Squadron Concert. As With any good artiste without the right machinery in place. KRAZEE KULTURE Went Underground. But Fortunately Resurfaced With The Well Received ''JUPA JUPA'' At The end of 2001,a Monster Hit.However,Through One problem or the other XL HOUSE founded by BIG BAMO Released the Album Rather Late.{Not Until Mid 2003}.As One Can imagine,As Cancerous As Piracy is in Nigeria. The Pirates Went For The Kill. Therefore, the album never made any money for the artistes.

The ''JUPA JUPA'' Album also included other hit tracks like ''ORI'', (Which Surprisingly Had a Sample Of The Song By Nas And R.Kelly entitled ''Did You Ever Think You Could Be This Rich?'') and ''BOJU BOJU''.Of The Two Tracks,The Former was philosophical.Whilst the latter took inspiration from a traditional folksong treated with a hiphop style.Bearing in Mind that is what afro-hiphop is about.Needless to say these two songs confirms and solidifies the team's creative credibility.

''DUDU'' a Core singer, rapper and ragga exponent is the first of the group to come out with a solo project.Which will be released first or second week of February. ''GBAMILETI''{Translated SLAP ME.} the first single Off the album entitled ''RUDE BOI'' also features 'KOLMAN' Of Krazee Kulture on the catchy chorus.

The Chorus By Kolman,loosely translates:-

''Make money take money show money Big big money make money take money yeah yeah The inference to slap me is not based any grievances If you play with me with money I shan't resist Play with me with wealth my big Brother's Commoon my sweet sisters Me and my homies(crew) indulge in big living Might as well not exist to be a pauper I pray for a wealthy life To be able to spend extravagantly So I can be as wealthy and powerful like Abiola(The late Philanthropic Nigerian Billionaire) Play with me with money play with me with wealth''

The translated interpretation of the Chorus fully explains the concept of the beautiful song.''GBAMILETI'' and so,like ''JUPA JUPA'' the song has surpassed all expectations. The single was voted one of the top five songs in 2007 and has earned 'DUDU' a nomination for the forthcoming ''Nigerian Hiphop Awards''. One can only wonder what will happen when the album finally drops and more incredible videos released onto T.V for our pleasure.''DUDU'' has being enjoying his re-emergence and increase in fame.By embarking on a taxing multitude of performances and concerts. And has Guest-spotted at several events.Especially throughout the Christmas festivities of 2007.He has truly arrived and 2008 looks set to be his year of atonement. He is here to stay for good.

''GBAMILETI'' a party and Dancefloor explosion with a heavy bassline, Is a Reggaetton influenced afro-hiphop explosion with a stirring guitar infusion. The track was produced by mega talented ''PUFFY T''.And ''DUDUMAN'' has indicated there is bound to be more collaborations with the talented producer.

''DUDU's''-''RUDE BOI'' album is packed full of Varieties. And a Confident display of his vocal dexterity is evident all through. There is cross genre transcention musically. And it Works Perfectly. As a Whole,a well packaged and arranged Album Thats Reminiscent of the ''BLACK ALBUM'' by Jay-Z. (Jay-Z's ''BLACK ALBUM'' had something for everyone. No matter if you a Reggae,Hiphopsoul or Rock fan With a dash of political undertone, especially on Track 3-NA LIE.And the Love songs on the Album are great too.For instance Track 2-CANNOT GO and Track 7-TETE GBATEMI(Which translates-dont play hard to get,be quick to accept my Love advances). There are guest appearances by veterans and unsigned but talented newcomers from Eddy Remedy, Kolman, X-Project and N.K. ENJOY!

''DUDUMAN'' is represented in the U.K, Europe, Australasia and the North-America by ''ASHMANICONCEPT INCORPORATED LIMITED''.They can be reached (for any enquiries about ''DUDUMAN'') at Phone No-{44(0)7983 123 293} or Email-{ashmaniconcept@yahoo. com}.
